The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government, through its Business Migration Program, seeks quality applications for sponsorship from business people who have owned or managed a successful business overseas and wish to settle in Canberra and establish businesses that will employ local residents, add value to the ACT economy and introduce significant investment funds. 

 Application Forms

  • Visa Subclass 163 Business Owner for owners or part-owners of a business. A 4-year provisional visa (Word 326 kB).
  • Visa Subclass 164 Senior Executive for senior executive managers of a major business. A 4-year provisional visa (Word 216 kB).
  • Visa Subclass 892 Business Owner for successful provisional visa holders applying for permanent residence (Word 209 kB).
  • Visa Subclass 132 Business Talent (Migrant) for high calibre business people (Word 217 kB).

 Payment of Service Fee

The ACT Government charges a service fee for processing all applications for certification and sponsorship. The service fee is to be paid on lodgement of the application. The service fee may be paid by:

  • Bank / business cheque / money order:
    payable to Chief Minister's Department

OR

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT):
    Bank:  Commonwealth

    A/C Name:  CMD Operating Account
