2013 ACT Chief Minister's Export Awards launched

Minister Andrew Barr launched the 2013 ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards on 1 May 2013. 

These Awards acknowledge the innovation, hard work and success of local businesses, large and small, in reaching new markets. They highlight those companies who are contributing to the more than $1.2 billion worth of products and services being exported annually from the ACT. 

This year’s theme incorporates our Centenary Celebrations -100 years; 100 Countries; 100 exporters and two new categories are being added:

  • Exporting Government Solutions Award which provides the opportunity for ACT based government agencies and businesses who are exporting government solutions to enter, and
  • Exporting to Asia Award which aims to capture the growth and importance of emerging Asian markets.
