Austrade
Austrade is the Australian Government's agency which helps Australians win export business and general inward and outward investment. Its programs; services and activities are targeted at small to medium sized companies that are either first time or well-established exporters. Its assistance includes providing general information and advice on exporting; helping businesses to select, understand and enter export markets; and helping businesses understand how to expand existing export markets.
Austrade services are primarily for those well-established businesses that are "export ready" - that is a business with sufficient resources to devote to the intensive effort required to develop an export market and with a well-established domestic market for its goods or services. Austrade can also provide information and advice to companies which may be interested in exporting in the future. This can assist in developing the business in directions, which make it easier to start exporting when you are ready. Austrade services can help businesses develop export markets. Export success can lead to business growth and provide benefits to the local community in which that business was developed.
