And globally renowned companies, such as EDS, Raytheon and Oracle, were drawn to Canberra by the unique combination of ready access to highly skilled creative workers, competitive business costs and the benefits stemming from doing business with the Federal Government.

Canberra is also home to a number of innovative locally grown companies who have developed partnerships with smart global businesses. TOWER Software's partnership with EDS has resulted in a contract with the US Navy. TOWER’S product, TRIM, is being provided to 360,000 computer stations within the US Navy over the next three years.
