National recognition for Local Exporter
Health care solutions provider, Aspen Medical, was the national winner in the Large Services Award category at the 49th Australian Export Awards held in Brisbane on 8 December 2011. In a strongly contested category, and against four other finalists including ASX listed companies Xstrata and Blackmores, Aspen emerged as the category winner.
The ACT was represented by eight finalists at the national awards. These companies were category winners at the ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards held in September. Aspen Medical won both the 2011 ACT Exporter of the Year and the 2011 ACT Hall of Fame award.
