The Skilled and Business Migration Unit, part of Business and Industry Development have recently launched a new settlement service for skilled and business migrants. The Canberra Settlement Service is offered free of charge to all ACT Government nominated skilled migrants. >> More
Business and Industry Development’s Skilled and Business Migration officers, along with Live in Canberra, participated in the Department of Immigration and Citizenship’s (DIAC) 24th Australia Needs Skills expo in London on 11/12 September and a complementary expo, Down Under Live, on 18/19 September. >> More
The ACT Chapter of the Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) was launched on October 25 at the National Gallery of Australia. >> More
ACT Member for Ginnindera, Mary Porter officially launched the ACT & Southern NSW Division of the Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia on 28 October at the National Press Club in Barton. >> More
September’s Business In Focus Month saw 54 activities presented by 34 organisations over 30 days. Feedback so far has been extremely positive, with a strong recognition of the quality and diversity of events held throughout the month.
