SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS MISSION TO MALAYSIA

Five local ICT, Defence and Security sector companies took part in a five day ACT Government-led trade mission to Malaysia from 14 to 18 June. The companies were supported throughout the mission by Austrade and BID trade development staff.

Throughout the five day program, companies took part in business matching meetings centred in Kuala Lumpur. The delegate also attended various networking events including a high level dinner where the companies were given the opportunity to present their business solutions and technologies to an audience of Malaysian Government officials who were leaders in public sector reform. A day of government to government meetings was also held with Malaysian government officials exchanging ideas and information on knowledge economy policy and program approaches, clean technology sector development, and business development ideas around high speed broadband application. The mission was funded by ACT Government and delivered in partnership with Austrade.
