FUTUREGOV CONGRESS TO BE HELD IN CANBERRA

NICTA and the Australian e-Government Technology Cluster have secured the return to Australia of the FutureGov Congress which will be held in Canberra on 12-14 September 2011. The Congress will be an important two-day event on the national eGovernment and Gov 2.0 calendar. It will showcase new developments in public sector service delivery from around the world, and provide an opportunity for Australia's senior policy leader in government, education and healthcare to come together with their international counterparts and share ideas on how to achieve best practice in Government processes and services to the public.

FutureGov congress will provide opportunities for the Australian research and business community to showcase to government leaders the latest innovations in the e-government space. NICTA looks forward to the FutureGov Congress as an opportunity to further strengthen Government ICT in Australia. FutureGov will attract 250 delegates and their families to Canberra, during Floriade providing strong linkages to the business, tourism and hospitality industries.
