NEW FUND FOR LOCAL EARLY STAGE VENTURES

Local research organisations and small ventures can now benefit from a new $3million fund that supports the development of commercial opportunities. The Discovery Translation Fund (DTF) aims to help commercialise new innovations and technologies and is an initiative of the ACT Government and The Australian National University.

The DTF was launched as part of a number of announcements including the opening of the new Innovation Centre at ANU Exchange and the ANU Edge Program. The DTF is a valuable addition to the available proof of concept funding for local businesses and entrepreneurs as well as for the commercialisation of discoveries made at ANU based research organisations.
