HELPING NEW RESIDENTS ESTABLISH IN THE ACT
The Australian National Botanic Gardens hosted the first Welcome to Canberra event of 2012 on Sunday 15 January with 200 new residents in attendance. The next event will be tickets to the Canberra Capitals on Friday 3 February. Over 1,300 people are now registered to attend these events.
Forty new recruits from many different countries who have come to study at the Defence Staff College were given an in depth look at life in Canberra during a ‘Welcome to Canberra’ presentation in mid-January.
