CitySwitch Green Office is a national program that works with the office tenants committed to improving energy efficiency for a positive impact on climate change. It is Australia's only national energy efficiency program that works directly with office tenants, rather than building owners. The program provides national and local promotion of organisations that are committed to reducing energy use.
Organisations can now take advantage of a rebate that the ACT Government is offering to CitySwitch Signatories on the st of a NABERS energy rating. The rebate is for 50% of the cost of a NABERS energy assessment to a maximum value of $1000 ($1100 including GST). The rebate is available for all CitySwitch Signatories who obtain a NABERS energy rating from 1 July 2010 to 31 May 2011. Organisations that join CitySwitch after receiving a NABERS energy rating are also eligible to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for organisation that have recently obtained a NABERS energy rating to become CitySwitch Signatories and apply for the rebate.
