2010 PRINT AND GRAPHIC EXCELLENCE AWARDS ANNOUNCED

Mary Porter AM MLA, recently attended the Print and Graphic Excellence Awards (PAGE) for 2010. The awards recognise print and graphic excellence in both traditional print and new media formats. The printing industry is a very important part of Canberra's economy and as the largest manufacturing industry in the ACT region; it directly employs more than 1,000 people, generating $210 million in turnover.

Awards were presented across fifteen categories including for annual reports, digitally printed material, new media and environmental and innovation excellence. The winners displayed outstanding creativity and exemplified the considerations given to the environmental issues associated within the industry.
