MIGRATION AGENTS FORUM
The Skilled and Business Migration Unit hosted the annual Migration Agents Forum on Thursday 18 November 2010. Over 70 local and interstate agents attended the forum. The forum discussed the 2009/10 outcomes of the Skilled and Business Migration Program and the new processes associated with the ACT State Migration Plan as well as the settlement services available. Representatives from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship gave presentations on the proposed changes to the General Skilled Migration program. This annual event continues to be well received by the migration agents, and highlights the ACT Government's commitment to ongoing collaborative relationships with migration agents, DIAC and the Skilled and Business Migration Program.
