INNOVATIONCONNECT GRANT PROGRAM INTEREST GROWING

The InnovationConnect (ICon) grant program continues to be a drawcard in the Canberra business community's engagement with Business and Industry Development. With the increase in interest, the program is becoming increasingly competitive with the number applications assessed for each round on the rise. An Assessment Panel met in November to consider applications seeking a total of $75,000 in funding support. So far this financial year six applicants have been awarded ICon assistance totally $88,000 in matched funding support. The next round is likely to be assessed in March 2011.
