INDUSTRY CAPABILITY NETWORK KEY SECTOR DEVELOPMENT

Industry Capability Network (ICN) has hosted a series of Key Sector workshops around Australia over several weeks, focusing on the importance of six key industry sectors. The sectors identified are: Water; Oil and Gas; Health and Hospitals; Rail and National Broadband. ICN has appointed National Sector managers and assigned local Sector Consultants on the ground in each State and Territory to work with suppliers and purchasers in these key industry sectors. The work aims to enhance the mapping of Australian supplier organisations across these sectors and to link these local suppliers to projects. It will also provide greater opportunities to market Australian industry capability nationally and internationally. Of particular interest in the ACT are the activities related to Clean Energy and the National Broadband Network.
