COMMERCIALISING AUSTRALIA - STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS WRAP UP

The Knowledge Commercialisation Australasia (KCA) Conference "Commercialise Australia - Strategies for Success", was held in Canberra from 9-11 November and was attended by a broad range of national and international delegates. The conference was sponsored by the ACT Government, and attracted law firms, venture capitalists, research organisations including universities, NICTA and CSIRO, as well as State, Territory and Federal Government representatives. A great range of professional development sessions were available, including how to overcome difficult deals and open innovation. There were also a number of forums covering topics such as: working with Angels; benchmarking studies; working with universities and other research institutions; and public sector commercialisation.
