COMMERCIALISATION AUSTRALIA ENCOURAGING LOCAL APPLICANTS

Commercialisation Australia (CA) recently sought recommendations from Business and Industry Development (BID) for successful businesses who may be interested in pitching for CA funding support. BID approached several companies that have graduated from the local InnovationConnect (ICon) grant program and encouraged them to contact CA about this opportunity. CA was set up in late 2009 to help researchers, entrepreneurs and innovative firms commercialise their ideas. A panel assessment round was conducted by CA in late November to assess shortlisted local applicants.
