CAPITAL ANGELS DINNER

The annual Capital Angels Dinner was held in March, incorporating a Capital Angels Pitching Event. Capital Angels is a forum for qualified high-net worth individuals to proactively support Capital Region entrepreneurs through both investment and direct activities supporting the companies. These events enable Capital Angels to hold formal meetings with potential companies and entrepreneurs and facilitate the exchange of information. ScreenACT attended the dinner, and together with Capital Angels, made a joint presentation on the investment opportunities for the Capital Angel Investors in ACT screen productions. The typical financing models for a screen project were also explained, including co-investment with the ACT Screen Investment Fund in a production, funding of a production slate and investing in a screen company.
