The Icon Assessment Panel last month considered applications from eight Canberra-based businesses seeking a total funding in excess of $284,000.  >> More

ACT exporters were well represented at the finals of the 47th Australian National Export Awards ceremony held at Parliament House on 20 November 2009.  >> More

ScreenACT has announced the latest round of its Industry Project Fund grants.  >> More


AUSTRADE MOU

Business and Industry Development Branch representatives recently met with Austrade officials to plan implementation activities relating to the Memorandum of Understanding with Austrade.  >> More


COMMERCIALISATION AUSTRALIA

Commercialisation Australia (CA) is to be launched next month. Formerly the Commonwealth Commercialisation Institute, CA will provide advice and services around commercialising ideas for ‘talented researchers, entrepreneurs and innovative firms to take their ideas to market’.  >> More


CollabIT

The ACT CollabIT Committee, in conjunction with the Lighthouse Business Innovation Centre, held a session called ‘Survivor Canberra’ at Regatta Point on 12 November 2009.  >> More


CONTINUED CONTACT WITH VIRGINIA STATE

Local company, Beyond Business Connections, has expanded its relationship with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) following the Trade Mission to Washington last year.  >> More
