IMPROVED ONLINE INFORMATION FOR PROSPECTIVE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

International students will have better access to better information on studying in Canberra when a new web page goes live later this year.

The ACT Government’s Business and Industry Development Unit is working with the Department of Education and Training (DET) and the Live in Canberra team to develop a web page or portal that will both support national initiatives around information provision for international students studying in Australia and provide an entry point to the ACT’s public and private providers of education to international students.

The portal will sit on the DET web site as an interim measure until the feasibility of building a more sophisticated independent site can be assessed.

The ACT Tourism theme and logo of ‘See Yourself in Canberra’ will extend to ‘See Yourself Learning in Canberra’ to brand the site. This overarching theme will identify the organisations attending the Guangzhou trade fair as part of the Government’s education-focused trade mission to China in September.
