Capital Angels, a private investor angel network that provides a forum for investors to support Canberra and region entrepreneurs, held its second function for the year on 23 June.
The General Manager of the ACT Government’s Business and Industry Development outlined the Government’s current strategies for business development in the Territory during the function. Previous Angel funding recipients Windlab, Simmersion, and Edentiti gave updates on their progress and activities. Bonobo Labs presented on their development of smartphone applications and associated technologies.

The members of Capital Angels make individual investment decisions based on their own assessments of the opportunity presented through their regular, formal meetings with potential companies and entrepreneurs.
The Capital Angels program is now being supported by the Lighthouse Innovation and Commercialisation Centre, an initiative of the ACT Government.
