CANBERRA BUSINESSPOINT UPDATE
A request for proposal for the delivery of the Canberra BusinessPoint advisory service was advertised on Saturday 22 May in both The Canberra Times and The Australian newspapers. The Request for Proposal closed on Tuesday 22 June 2010. The proposals received are being evaluated by a Panel of Senior Executives from within the Chief Minister’s Department and an expert independant advisor. It is expected that the successful tenderer(s) will be announced in late August/early September.
The current contract with Deloitte Growth Solutions expires on 30 June and transitional arrangements come into effect from 1 July 2010. Deloitte Growth Solutions will continue to provide some of the core components of the current service until new service is ready to commence.
