DEFENCE EXPORT MISSION TO THE UNITED STATES

The Defence Export Unit of the Defence Material Organisation is conducting a mission to the United States from 5–16 April 2010 to provide opportunities for export ready Australian defence companies to make contact with US Defence companies and clients. Companies that have attended the previous MDM, AUSA and I/ITSEC expositions in the US may gain the most benefit from this opportunity.

Delegates will need to fund their own travel and accommodation costs. However, ACT Companies that decide to go may be eligible for the ACT Government’s TradeConnect funding support for some aspects of their costs.

There will be no cost to companies for the mission’s ‘Team Australia’ organisation and support. Companies planning to take up this opportunity should advise which US companies and areas of the US Department of Defence they particularly wish to meet.

Expressions of interest need to be received from companies no later than 4 March 2010.
