SMALL BUSINESS ‘SCHMOOZES’ WITH CANBERRA BUSINESSPOINT
Members of the ACT small business community were joined by Chief Minister Jon Stanhope at the annual Canberra BusinessPoint and Schmooze networking event held at the ACT Legislative Assembly in late March.
This was the third time these two organisations have pooled their resources to provide an evening of networking, conversation and fact finding. The event also gives the ACT Government an opportunity to highlight the support networks and business assistance programs they provide.
The co-host for the evening, Schmooze, was established in 2003 as an independent and collaborative environment for professionals to make connections and promote their expertise, services and events. They are currently embarking on the first stage of their national expansion, with networks opening in Melbourne and the Illawarra.
