CHANGES IN THE WIND FOR DELIVERY OF BUSINESS ADVISORY SERVICE
The ACT Government will be seeking proposal for the delivery of the Canberra BusinessPoint service later this month. The current three year delivery arrangement with Deloitte Growth Solutions expires at the end of June 2010 and is now subject to Government procurement practice.
Canberra BusinessPoint provides a comprehensive suite of services, including basic start-up and regulatory information, business development tools, one-on-one mentoring, e-learning tutorials, a range of on-line tools and a series of networking events.
The Chief Minister’s Department Business and Industry Development Branch conducted an industry consultation session on 19 April to discuss key elements of the intended procurement process. The information session, attended by 20 stakeholders, gave the local business community an opportunity to make input before the finalisation of procurement documentation.
