The Investment Facilitation Program (IFP) is a new ACT Government program designed to provide a vehicle for eligible private sector companies to apply for concessions on payroll tax liabilities that are linked to significant new business investment projects in the ACT.

Full or partial waivers of Payroll Tax liability are available for a maximum period of five years. There is no cash component to this program.

The IFP supports the ACT Government’s policy objective of encouraging a diverse and innovative private sector economy, and participation in the program is approved only in relation to proposals that clearly address the stated policy objective.

The Expression of Interest Form should be completed by a company applicant that wishes to register an initial interest in applying for support under the program. Applicants should read the IFP Guidelines prior to completing the Expression of Interest Form. Following initial evaluation, only applicants assessed as meeting the basic program criteria will be progressed to the formal application stage.

There will be a continuous application process for the program, with all Expressions of Interest assessed individually.
