Business and Industry Development Replaces BusinessACT

The ACT Government's business and industry development services and functions have undergone significant change over the past six months.

From now on, the business development capability of the ACT Government will be known as the Business and Industry Development Branch of the ACT Chief Minister's Department and the name BusinessACT will no longer be used.

To reflect these changes and to better communicate our services and functions, we are introducing new branding and naming for Government delivered activities. We will also be updating this website as part of our re-branding.

A new business mentoring and advisory service will also be introduced soon, following the Government's decision last year to boost resources in this area. The new service—which will be delivered under contract by Deloitte Growth Solutions—will also have its own discrete branding. Details of the new service, including access points, will be announced shortly.
