New Business Prospectus Sells Canberra
to the World
Chief Minister Jon Stanhope today announced the release of the ACT Government’s first investment prospectus, which heralds the benefits of doing business and living in Canberra.
'Our vibrant city has enormous potential for business attraction and investment,' Mr Stanhope said.
'We need people and businesses outside Canberra to realise this potential, to help build the city and take our already thriving economy in new directions and to new levels.'
The new prospectus, Investing in Australia’s Capital, will be a key selling tool for the city at next month’s trade mission to India, which is being led by the Chief Minister.
Investing in Australia’s Capital reports on the state of our economy, outlines Canberra’s key industry sectors and raises awareness of Canberra’s distinctive lifestyle. The document features testimonials from a number of Canberrans eager to share the stories of their success and their city.
'There is a range of ACT Government support to assist business development in Canberra, including investment attraction and skills attraction initiatives.'
'Copies of the new prospectus will be made available to Canberra businesses and organisations actively promoting the city interstate and overseas,' Mr Stanhope said.
